Search for human methylation segmentsBy the Specific Methylation Analysis and Report Tool (
SMART), we carried out genome segmentation and obtained different types of segments including high specificity segment (HighSpe), intermediate specificity segment (InterSpe) and low cell-specificity segment (LowSpe) which are further classified into four groups: uniform hypo methylation (UniHypo, 0<=Mean<=0.25), uniform partial low methylation (UnipLow, 0.25<Mean<=0.60), uniform partial high methylation (UnipHigh, 0.60<Mean<=0.80) and uniform hyper methylation (UniHyper, 0.80<Mean<=1.0). Here, we provide a comprehensive list of annotated segments with methylation specificity, methylation levels, and their corresponding annotation information, and a selector for them. By setting a genome location, the methylation segments in this regions would be shown in the results. Other detailed parameters such as length, MethySpecificity, RefSeqID, GeneSymbol, CGILoc and Location would be useful for more precise search of elements of interest. DisplayRows can be set to show specific rows of results. The default search region (chr6:31124000-31147000) is around the well-known hESC markers POU5F1 (also known as OCT4).
