Search for Cell-type-specific MethyMarks that span large chromosomal regions
We found cell-type-specific MethyMarks that span large chromosomal regions, some of which spanned over 3.5 kb, a length that was used to identify large undermethylated genomic features (canyons) in human genome (
Jeong et al. 2014). Here, we summarized these large cell-type-specific MethyMarks, including 220 HypoMarks (123 unique genomic domains related with 68 Refseq genes) and 224 HyperMarks (65 unique genomic domains related with 42 Refseq genes). Using the following Large-MethyMark selector, you can obtain the MethyMarks with length at least 3.5kb. Other detailed parameters such as length, MethySpecificity, RefSeqID, GeneSymbol, CGILoc and Location would be useful for more precise search of elements of interest. DisplayRows can be set to show specific rows of results. The default search region (chr7:1-159138663) is around some novel hESC markers including lncRNA AC005062.
